We understand that many people feel like churches today are just after their money. Let’s be honest—yes, it does take financial resources to keep the church running. But that’s only part of the story.

At Uplands Baptist Church, we believe that giving is an act of worship—a way to respond to God’s generosity in our lives. When we give from what we’ve earned, we’re not only supporting the church’s mission and ministries, but we’re also expressing gratitude and trust in God to provide for our needs.

Research consistently shows that generosity leads to greater joy and personal fulfillment. Giving helps us grow spiritually, deepen our connection to God, and support the work He’s doing in and through our church family.

There’s no “right amount” to give. It’s not about pressure or performance—it’s about giving what you feel led to give, as a personal act of worship and support for our shared mission.
